Terms and conditions

Last updated: 09 September 2025

Welcome to soulwritten.life (SWL). By accessing this site, enrolling in an offering, or corresponding through any of our services (including soul maps, dispatches, and your private SWL inbox), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Please read them carefully.

Note that the privacy policy is included below these terms.

1. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including written pieces, soul maps, frameworks, letters, and visual materials, is the intellectual property of soulwritten.life unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute content without written permission.

Your submitted content (if featured anonymously in Memoir or Correspondence) will always be handled with care and credited only with explicit consent.

2a. Offerings & refunds: Paid newsletter

Since the paid newsletter is offered month-to-month, there are no refunds.

2b. Offerings & refunds: Soul maps

  • There are no refunds once the first letter has been sent.
  • Your container closes at the 4– to 6-week mark, regardless of the number of exchanges, or at six (6) total letters, whichever comes first.
  • Please reply within five to seven (5–7) days, unless otherwise agreed. If more than ten (10) days pass without hearing from you, your season will be marked complete and your SWL email will be deleted.
  • If you discontinue mid-season without prior arrangement, the season will be closed with a final note and your map will be delivered based on what’s complete.
  • This process does not attempt to map every aspect of your life. Instead, we’ll follow the threads that arise naturally in our exchange. You may walk away with clarity around certain soul terrains, while others remain untouched.
  • You may begin a new soul-map season at any time, as soon as a space comes available.
  • This is not therapy, coaching, or consulting. I am not a licensed therapist and cannot offer crisis or trauma support. Depending on our exchange, we may cover psychological, spiritual, mental, and emotional ground that's worth excavating with professionals in these domains.
  • Your sacred inbox (e.g., you@soulwritten.life OR youralias@soulwritten.life) is reserved for soul-map correspondence; all admin-related communications and subscription content will be sent to your personal email (e.g., you@gmail.com). This separation is intentional, to preserve the sanctity and focus of your soul map space.
  • My sacred inbox is not monitored for logistical requests, billing questions, or support issues; please use The writing space email or the contact form for these types of communications. I will not respond to (or even see) messages after your soul-mapping season closes, unless we reopen the container; I set my SWL inbox to automatically archive messages from any accounts that are not actively in a soul-mapping season.

2c. Offerings & refunds: War boards

Scope of services

The war board offering provides a personalized strategic visual action plan for launching meaningful work and includes: (1) a personalized war board mapped in Milanote,* (2) a step-by-step action plan to map your work/project, (3) strategies for maintaining execution momentum.

This offering does not include: professional coaching, therapy, legal advice, or financial advice, or business advice. Please consult the proper professionals for legal, financial, tax, and other business advice.

*Milanote requirement

A free Milanote account to utilize your war board. A paid account is optional, should you decide to create additional boards outside the parameters of a free account. I do not receive an affiliate commission for your purchase or subscription; Milanote is a great product that I've come to use for my own war boards, and I find it most effective at the task.

Participant responsibilities

My role is to help you untangle, clarify, and structure your project into an actionable launch plan. Your role is to show up, complete your workbook, and engage with the process fully. As a war-boarding participant, you agree to: (1) provide accurate and complete information about their project and goals, (2) actively engage with the war board and implement the strategies provided, (3) respect timelines and deliverables outlined in the process.

Payment & refunds

Full payment is due at the time of sign-up. No refunds are available once planning begins or you submit your workbook, whichever comes first.

Schedule & timeframe for completion

SCHEDULE

  1. You’ll have five (5) calendar days after booking your war board to (a) complete your project launch workbook and (b) schedule our first Zoom work session. The Zoom work session booking link is available upon completion of the workbook submission form.
  2. I'll have five (5) calendar days from the date you submit your workbook to mock up your initial war board.
  3. We'll conduct your first Zoom work session to discuss the war board and its direction, and you'll have five (5) calendar days from that date (the first Zoom session date) to (a) submit any revision requests and (b) schedule our final Zoom work session. The Zoom work session booking link is available upon completion of the revision request form.
  4. I'll have five (5) calendar days from the date you submit your revision requests to make your requested revisions and deliver your completed war board.
  5. We'll conduct your final Zoom work session to discuss the final war board and strategies for execution.

TIMEFRAME

If deadlines aren’t met, work sessions may need to be rescheduled. There are no refunds once planning begins or you submit your workbook, whichever comes first, so please be sure you can commit to the timeline before enrolling.

Please reply within the designated timeframes, as outlined below. If more than ten (10) days pass without hearing from you, your war board will be marked complete as-is, and no refunds will be given.

In general, all sessions must be completed within four (4) weeks of enrolling in the war board offering. Each Zoom work session may be rescheduled one (1) time with minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If sessions aren’t completed within the 4-week window, the war board is considered complete as-is, and no refunds will be given.

In case of emergencies, an extension of the war board process may be granted for up to six (6) weeks total (meaning up to two (2) weeks beyond the original timeframe for completion) in the case of: (1) serious illness or injury (either the participant or a close family member), (2) major personal crisis (e.g., hospitalization, death of an immediate family member, or other unavoidable life events), (3) natural disaster or unforeseen event (fire, flood, or other incidents that directly prevent engagement with the war board process); what does not qualify: (1) general busy-ness, work overload, or vacation schedules, (2) procrastination or lack of engagement or commitment, (3) minor illness or inconveniences. In case of emergency, please contact me immediately with a brief explanation, as well as how much additional time you'll need (maximum two (2) extra weeks); approval is at my discretion and may require documentation.

New rounds of war-boarding

You may begin a new round of war-boarding at any time, provided space is available.

Scope

Each war board engagement/round covers one (1) project or initiative to include: (1) mapping the project’s goals, priorities, and actionable steps, (2) creating a visual war board tailored to the project, (3) guidance for execution; what is not included: (1) multiple projects or unrelated initiatives in the same engagement, (2) detailed implementation support beyond the visual strategy. If you would like to map additional projects or initiatives, you will have to enroll in a new engagement/round of war-boarding.

Intellectual property

  • War boards are created specifically for the participant.
  • You may not reproduce or sell the templates or content provided by Soulwritten.life and/or Soulwritten.work (part of Rock Your Genius, LLC).

Agreement

By signing up for a war board, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that the offering is a structured strategic tool, not professional consulting or any guarantee of results.

3. Sacred inbox terms

  • Your SWL email inbox (e.g., you@soulwritten.life or alias@soulwritten.life) is reserved solely for soul map correspondence.
  • All administrative communications (e.g., receipts, updates, support) will be sent to your personal email (e.g., you@gmail.com).
  • Inbox access ends at the close of your soul-mapping season unless you’ve opted into the “Hold my inbox” subscription ($60/year). If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, your inbox will be deleted at the end of your current billing cycle.

4. Conduct & boundaries

This is a sacred space, not a therapeutic or crisis service. While our work may be emotionally resonant, it is not a substitute for mental health care.

You agree not to submit content or communication that is:

  • Hateful, abusive, or threatening.
  • Intending to solicit services or advice outside the scope of what’s offered.
  • In active crisis (see section 5).

5. Emotional safety & crisis resources

If you are experiencing an emotional or mental health crisis, please contact professional support in your area. A list of global and U.S. crisis resources is available here.

Soulwritten.life is not equipped to respond to emergencies and will redirect you accordingly.

6. Communication & timing

  • I am not available for real-time messaging. All correspondence takes place asynchronously via SWL email (or regular email for anyone not actively enrolled in a soul-map season).
  • Please allow 5–7 days for a response unless otherwise noted.
  • For clients who have enrolled in soul-mapping, messages received outside of your season may be auto-archived without reply.

7. Submissions

Readers and soul-map clients are invited to submit written content to soulwritten.life—whether through soul-map fragments, memoir fragments, letters, or Codex offerings.

By submitting content, you agree to the following:

  • Original work: All submissions must be your own original work. Light use of AI tools (e.g., for spelling, clarity, or structure) is acceptable, but the voice, message, and authorship must be yours. Submissions that appear generated or heavily AI-assisted will be declined.
  • Ownership: You retain full ownership of your writing. Soulwritten.life does not claim exclusive rights to your words.
  • Consent to feature: If you give written consent (via form or email), your submission may be published on the site—typically anonymized, excerpted, or stylized—as part of a public post, fragment, or letter. No identifying details will be shared without your explicit permission.
  • Edits & curation: I reserve the right to lightly edit for clarity, tone, or formatting, always preserving the integrity of your voice. If major edits are required, I will reach out first.
  • Withdrawal: You may request that your submission be removed or unpublished at any time. We will honor this within a reasonable timeframe.
  • No guarantees: Submitting work does not guarantee it will be published. All content is curated intentionally and selectively, based on alignment with the spirit and rhythm of soulwritten.life.
  • Compensation: All submissions are voluntary and unpaid. Soulwritten.life does not offer financial compensation for published pieces. Your contribution is received as a gift to the collective archive and will always be treated with respect, care, and appropriate attribution.
  • Attribution: SWL does not include author bios or promotional links. If someone inquires about your piece (and usually only on rare occasions), I may contact you privately with the person's message and contact information.
